Murray Police responded to a collision between two Calloway County Sheriff’s Department vehicles which resulted in possible injuries on Friday.
According to a report from police the collision occurred at the intersection of South 12th Street and Peggy Ann Drive when Deputies Nick Hopkins and Daniel Burgdolf were set to assist the Henry County Sheriff’s Office as they were in pursuit of a felon heading toward Kentucky.
Burgdolf was traveling behind Hopkins when Hopkins reportedly started to turn left to prepare for the pursuit and Burgdolf was unable to avoid a collision with Hopkins’ vehicle.
Both deputies were transported to an emergency room for possible injuries.
