New Hope Road reopens with completion of new bridge over Potts Creek

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has reopened a section of New Hope Road in southern Trigg County.

According to a news release, KY 525 has been closed since early-March near mile point four to allow for construction of a new bridge over Potts Creek between Prather Road and Jack Humphries Road.  The roadway has now been reopened to traffic about two weeks ahead of schedule.

Approximately 570 vehicles travel this section of New Hope Road in an average day.
