Todd County Central High School is looking for a new boys’ basketball coach today after Walter McCombs III stepped down on Tuesday.
In a Facebook message to WHOP, McCombs, who is a Christian County High School graduate, said he was resigning as the Rebels’ basketball coach and joining D.G. Sherrill’s coaching staff at Bowling Green High School.
McCombs coached the Rebels for two seasons and accumulated a 9-51 record.
McCombs took over the Todd Central program after Russell Malone resigned following the 2024 season.
