Drew Fincham struck out six and tossed a 3-hitter and visiting Christian County defeated Lyon County 12-1 Tuesday in a five-inning high school baseball game.
The Colonels scored six runs in the first inning and never looked back against the Lyons.
Blake Boehman went 2-for-2 with a home run and Gavin Mitchell and Deuce Embrey each had a pair of RBI for the Colonels (12-10). Layton Creamer added a pair of hits.
Christian County is scheduled to play host to Clarksville Friday night at 6 p.m. Airtime is at 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
