Hopkinsville Solid Waste Enterprise will be closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day, meaning trash routes will not be run that day.
According to a news release, to make sure all routes are served, HSW will operating on extended hours from Tuesday through Friday. Residents are asked to place all containers out for collection as usual. Tuesday routes will start on a normal schedule and after completing Tuesday’s routes, staff will begin work to catch up on Monday’s routes.
This will continue throughout the week until all routes are completed.
