Christian County Public Schools has named Aaron Harrell as the Director of State and Federal Programs, leaving his current role as the Superintendent of Webster County Schools.
According to a news release, Harrell will official begin this new position on July 1. He brings over two decades of experience in public education with him, after beginning his career as a high school English teacher 22 years ago. He would eventually transition into leadership roles, serving in numerous capacities at both school and district levels.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master’s degree in Instructional Leadership from the University of Southern Indiana, as well as a Rank I in Administration from Murray State University.
Harrell says, “I am passionate about ensuring the best possible opportunities and experiences for students. I am excited to join a high performing team where I hope to lend my experience and add value by supporting the mission of Christian County Schools, its students, teachers, staff, and the larger community.”
