Area football fans will get their first look at the new Christian County Tigers in action on July 11 at the Best of the West 7v7 Passing Tournament at Tie Breaker Park.
The Tigers are in a pool including Calloway County, Clarksville Rossview, and Gibson Southern, Ind.
Christian County is scheduled to play all of its pool play games on Field 1 with the first game at 9 a.m. against Calloway County. The second game is at 10:30 a.m. and will feature the Tigers against Rossview. Christian County’s final pool play game is at 11 a.m. against Gibson Southern.
Other teams participating in the tournament include Paducah Tilghman, Fort Campbell, Kirkwood, Meade County, Macon Co., Tenn., Union County, Clarksville Northeast, Logan County, Nashville Pearl Cohn, Clarksville Kenwood, Madisonville-North Hopkins, and Murray.
Pool play begins at 9 a.m. with the tournament games scheduled to start at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $10 and are cash only. Children ages 10-and-under will be admitted free.
