Motorists in Livingston County are urged to use caution while traveling on Paradise Road, as the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has closed the road to allow for a bridge replacement project.
According to a news release, the existing bridge over Hazel Creek, at the 4.69 mile point on Paradise Road, will be demolished and replaced with a new bridge structure. This is between Sugar Creek Road and Furnace Pond Road.
Construction is expected to be completed by the end of July, weather permitting. Just over 100 vehicles travel that bridge on an average day.
