UHA track teams tune up for Region at Area 1 Meet

University Heights Academy also participated in the Area 1 Track Meet Saturday at Calloway County High School. 

Ajae Oatts earned a pair of top five finishes for the Lady Blazers. The senior ran fourth in the 200-meter Dash in 27.60 and fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.15. 

Emma Dill also had a pair of top 10 finishes for the Lady Blazers. Dill ran sixth in the 300-meter Hurdles in 51.43 and seventh in the 100-meter Hurdles in 18.41. 

The Lady Blazers’ 200-meter Relay team finished third place and the 4×400-meter Relay team was fourth. 

For the Blazers, Graham Conrad ran fourth in the 1,600-meter run in a time of 4:46.65 and Jude Finch took fifth in the 3,200-meter run in 11:04.38. 

The Blazers’ 400-meter relay team finished third in 3:46.60 and the 800-meter relay team ran sixth in 8:53.86. 

The Blazers will next compete in the Class 1-A, Region 1 Meet, which is scheduled for Saturday morning at Mayfield.
