Whitesville Trinity got off to a strong start and went on to defeat host Heritage Christian Academy 11-2 Friday night in a high school baseball game called after five innings due to darkness.
The Raiders led 1-0 entering the third inning but scored four in the top of the third and four more in the top of the fourth to take control of the game.
The Warriors trailed 11-0 entering the bottom of the fifth but were able to plate two runs. Collin Outland had a run-scoring single and Henry Bullard drove in a run.
HCA was held to four hits in the game with Cadyn Travis getting two of those. Outland and Caden Hale also each had a single.
HCA falls to 3-11 on the season and are scheduled to play Foundation Christian and the Bluegrass Braves home school team Saturday in Russellville, weather permitting.
