Strong 1st inning lifts HCA past Dawson Springs

Heritage Christian Academy scored 19 runs in the first inning and cruised past visiting Dawson Springs 21-4 Tuesday afternoon in a three-inning baseball game. 

The Warriors took advantage of nine Panthers’ errors and seven walks to score their most runs in a game since a win over Warren Central of May, 2024. 

Collin Outland had a pair of hits and drove in three runs to lead the HCA offensive attack. 

Caden Gresham earned the pitching win. The senior went 1 2/3 innings, striking out thre and allowing three hits. 

The win broke a seven-game losing streak for the Warriors, who improved to 3-10 on the season. HCA is scheduled to play host to Whitesville Trinity on Friday afternoon.
