Todd County Central took advantage of six Heritage Christian Academy errors and defeated the visiting Warriors 10-5 Monday night in a high school baseball game.
The Rebels jumped out to a 4-2 lead after one inning using a pair of hits, three walks and an error. HCA had taken a 2-0 lead in the top of the first using a couple of Todd errors and hits by Henry Bullard and Tycen Wells.
Todd Central, which had only three hits in the game, pushed its lead to 7-2 after two innings and it was 9-2 after three.
The Warriors drew within 9-3 in the top of the fifth Henry Bullard scored on an error.
After the Rebels (4-7) scored a run in the bottom of the sixth, HCA scored two in the top of the seventh inning. Bullard scored Collin Outland with a single and then touched home plate after a wild pitch.
Wells went 3-for-4 and Bullard had a pair of hits for the Warriors (2-10). Lane Thomas led the Rebels with two singles. Caden Hale suffered the pitching loss and Ty Jolly picked up the win.
HCA is scheduled to play host to Dawson Springs today.
