A woman who was injured in a multi-vehicle crash on I-24 in Christian County on Saturday has died of her injuries.
That’s according to Kentucky State Police, who says 39-year-old Elizabeth Lubke of Wisconsin was a passenger in one of the three-vehicles that collided near the 86-mile-marker of I-24 Saturday afternoon. Multiple people, including children, were injured, with two flown by helicopters to Tennessee hospitals for the severity of their injuries.
Lubke was one of the passenger flown, and she would die of her injuries on Monday at the hospital. The second victim flown is expected to recover.
The investigation remains ongoing.
