As if the weather wasn’t intense enough over the weekend, our next chance for snow arrives tomorrow, with all of western Kentucky under a Winter Storm Watch starting at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
Areas to our west are already under a Winter Storm Warning, and Meteorologist Derrick Snyder with the National Weather Service in Paducah says folks in the Winter Storm Watch area could see between 3-to-6 inches of snowfall, starting Tuesday.
He says snow should finish up Wednesday morning—after that, temperatures are set to become bitterly cold, and snow on the ground will only make it colder.
Take the time now to prepare by winterizing homes and vehicles, and make sure you have an emergency kit in your vehicle, just incase you were become stranded, including extra warmth clothing and blankets.
