Winders steps in as Administrative Coordinator at Chamber of Commerce

The Christian County Chamber of Commerce has a new Administrative Coordinator—Sandy Winders.

According to a news release, Winders is a life-long resident of Christian County and most recently worked as a teacher at Christian County High School, though the bulk of her career has been spent in administrative and human resource roles. A graduate of Hopkinsville High School, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and two minors in Psychology and Human Resources from Mid-Continent University.

As Administrative Coordinator, she will work closely with chamber staff by supporting all chamber operations, from military affairs, government affairs, events and membership engagement. She will also assist the Southwest Kentucky Economic Development Council as needed.

Winders officially started on December 2 and says, “I am thrilled to be starting this new chapter at The Chamber as the Administrative Coordinator. I am extremely excited to leverage my experience and education to help strengthen the bonds the Chamber has within our community.”
