Heritage Christian Academy opened soccer play Friday night in the Kentucky Christian Athletic Conference State Tournament at Whitefield Academy in Louisville.
The Warriors dropped their opening game to the host school 7-2. Kallan Davis had both goals and Lucas Brockwell had an assist for HCA. Caydon Nowak had six saves in goal.
Heritage was eliminated from the tournament on Saturday with an 8-2 loss to Frankfort Christian.
The Warriors opened the scoring in the 12th minute, but Frankfort scored the next three on the way to the win.
HCA played shorthanded in both games, starting with 10 players, but finished with nine in the second game.
