A collision between a car and a pedestrian in a parking lot along Commerce Street resulted in injuries on Tuesday.
Diane Beach of Hopkinsville was attempting to exit a parking spot when she reportedly struck Helen White of Crofton. A witness told law enforcement that Beach ran over White’s foot and threw her backwards on the pavement.
White suffered leg and head injuries and was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center. Beach reportedly told law enforcement that she did not see White and thought she was further away.
