UHA senior Gavin Grubbs signs to play basketball at Highland Community College

On Monday morning, Gavin Grubbs was joined by family, friends, coaches, and the entire UHA student body as he signed his letter of intent to play basketball at Highland Community College in Highland, Kansas.

After signing and spending some time taking photos and thanking his supporters for coming, Gavin spoke with WHOP and talked a bit about the new chapter in his life that was open.

When you ultimately signed the paper during the ceremony, what were some of the thoughts going through your head?

With your strong love of basketball, how excited are you to have the chance continue playing after high school?

With such a talented senior class across the city of Hopkinsville this season, how does it feel to see not just you, but other athletes you played with and against, get offered to play at the next level?
