UHA netters top Christian County in Tuesday matches

University Heights Academy swept a girls’/boys’ tennis match from Christian County Tuesday afternoon at the Ruff Park tennis courts.

In the girls’ match, UHA took five of the six singles matches on the way to a 7-1 victory. Allie Sandifer, Ashton Grace, Stella del Valle, Brooklyn Chesnut, and Emma Flynn all picked up wins for the Lady Blazers.

Christian County’s Tori Nicholson earned a singles win.

Meanwhile, the Blazers swept all four boys’ matches on the way to a 5-1 win.

Fantini and Christian County’s Cooper Fort had a competitive match as the two went three sets before Fantini escaped with a 7-6, 2-6, 10-8 win.

Nicholas Fantini, Brad Simmons, Paxton Aldridge, and Luke Humphries were winners for the Blazers.
