The Boys’ Region 2 All “A” Basketball Tournament will resume tonight at Dawson Springs High School.
University Heights Academy will take on two-time defending region All “A” champion and defending KHSAA State Tournament champion Lyon County at 6 p.m. The F&M Bank Pregame show will begin at 5:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm.
The Blazers advanced with an 84-66 win over Heritage Christian Academy on Tuesday night. Lyon moved into the semifinals with an easy 90-29 win over Crittenden County on Tuesday.
UHA is 3-8 on the season and Lyon County is 6-4. The Lyons eliminated the Blazers from last year’s Region 2 All “A” Tournament 114-68.
The Blazers have won 25 Region 2 All “A” Basketball Tournament championships and Lyon County is looking for its seventh title and fourth title in five years.
The second semifinal contest will feature Caldwell County against Dawson Springs. The Tigers defeated Fort Campbell 76-27 on Wednesday. The Panthers rolled past Livingston Central 76-49.
