Two women were transported to hospitals after suffering injuries in a vehicle collision on Fort Campbell Boulevard on Saturday.
According to a report from Hopkinsville Police, Mildred Oliver of Hopkinsville was traveling south down Fort Campbell Boulevard, while Mildred Young of Elkton was exiting the Hopkinsville Towne Center parking lot and attempting to cross the southbound lane of the Boulevard.
In the report Oliver says Young’s vehicle pulled in front of her vehicle and she did not have enough time to stop before the pair collided. Following the collision, Young was unable to give a statement because of the severity of her injuries and was transported to Tennova Healthcare.
Oliver was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center for her injuries and no injuries were reported for a child passenger who was traveling with her.
