Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident on Fort Campbell Boulevard Wednesday afternoon, with one taken to a Nashville hospital.
According to the Hopkinsville Fire Department, it happened at about 4:45 p.m. near the intersection of Elmo Road and the Boulevard. One male victim was transported to Tennova Hospital with serious injuries, while another adult male was transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, and from there, taken to a Nashville hospital for treatment.
He was believed to be in critical condition.
Both victims had to be extricated from the vehicle, as they were heavily entrapped.
