Two facing prostitution, wanton endangerment charges

Two people are facing charges following investigation into a disturbance at a gas station on Fort Campbell Boulevard Thursday.

According to the Hopkinsville police report, officers responded to the gas station for reports of a man and a woman arguing in the parking lot and quickly made contact with the suspects, identified as 53-year-old Allen Kirksey and 27-year-old Rachel Kubsch, both of Michigan.  Kubsch reportedly told officers they had been arguing over drugs.

A search of a vehicle reportedly revealed a digital scale that had suspected methamphetamine residue on it located underneath a child seat, where Kubsch’s child had been sitting. Officers also reportedly located heroin, marijuana and other drug paraphernalia.

Kubsch reportedly told officers she had paid for drugs from Kirksey with cash and prostitution.

Kubsch was arrested and charged with second-degree wanton endangerment, prostitution and possession of heroin.  Kirksey was arrested and charged with second-degree wanton endangerment, giving officers false identifying information, promoting prostitution and possession of marijuana.
