Cadyn Travis ran one of his best races of the season for Heritage Christian Academy Saturday in the Graves County Eagle Classic Cross Country Meet in Mayfield.
Travis finished 53rd overall with a time of 19:37.3.
Aaron Hensley ran 66th in a time of 20:14.8.
Dawson Springs won the boys’ team meet with 54 points followed by Paducah Tilghman (86) and Christian County (103).
In the girls’ varsity race, Genna Calhoun took 62nd in 28:50.9 for the Lady Warriors.
Graves County won the girls’ team event with 42 points, followed by McCracken County (61), Dawson Springs (74) and Hopkinsville (81).
Meanwhile, in the boys’ middle school race, Levi Johnston took first place overall with a time of 16:00.9. Ben Hensley also had an impressive race with a ninth-place finish in 17:40.1. Luke Johnston finished 26th overall in 22:15.8.
In the girls’ middle school race, Lucy Smith was 29th in 23:57.5.
In the elementary division, the HCA boys took seventh place in the team standings.
Levi Geyer led the Warriors with a 19th-place finish in 7:15.9.
Also running for the Warriors were Tristan Heltsley (36, 8:39.3), Colton Struble (37, 8:39.9), Judah Geyer (40, 8:48.3), Richard Roberts (41, 8:59.8), and Elijah Heltsley (50, 10:25.3).
