Tonight’s District 8 basketball game featuring University Heights Academy at Hopkinsville High School has been canceled after officials at HHS said they had too many games scheduled.
The two teams played earlier this month and the Tigers won 85-44. That game will count in the District 8 standings. Tonight’s game would not have counted in the district standings.
Hopkinsville is 11-13 on the season and returns to action Wednesday night at home against Paducah Tilghman. The game is scheduled to tipoff at 7:30 p.m. with airtime for the F&M Bank Pregame Show set for 7:15 p.m. on Newsradio 99.3 FM and 1230 AM.
UHA is 7-11 and returns to play Thursday night in a key District 8 game at home against Heritage Christian Academy at 7 p.m. The F&M Bank Pregame Show is set for 6:45 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm.
