Tigers’ offense struggles at Greenwood

The Hopkinsville Tigers’ soccer team continued its offensive struggles on Saturday with a pair of shutout losses at Greenwood.

In the first game, the host Gators downed Hopkinsville 8-0 in a game called due to the mercy rule.

In the second game, Apollo blanked the Tigers 3-0.

Hoptown (3-10) has been shut out in six of its last seven matches.

The Tigers play host to Todd County Central tonight at the Stadium of Champions. The Rebels enter the game on a three-game winning streak and are 8-1 on the season.
