The Nook and Cranny consignment store opens in downtown Hopkinsville

Folks searching for vintage and one-of-a-kind items can now visit The Nook in Cranny, a new consignment store, in downtown Hopkinsville.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted on Thursday to celebrate the store’s grand opening at 115 East 9th Street. The Nook and Cranny is owned by Heather Gray, Sabrina Davis and Jason Meacham. The store might be small, but it comes with a diverse inventory, including furniture, silverware, clothes, jewelry and much more.

Gray says the idea for the consignment shop sprouted late last year, and in February, she started working with Davis and Meacham to bring it to life. She also shared that the store already has 43 consignors.

Davis says The Nook and Cranny offers a shopping experience that is not currently available in Hopkinsville, and along with the brick and mortar store, folks can also shop for items online.

Davis says she was nervous to open the store downtown because she did not know what to expect. However, since the store’s soft opening in late March, she says they have had shoppers in the store each day.

The store is open Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Those interested in being a consignor can call the store at 270-878-0978. More information about the store is available at The Nook & Cranny on Facebook.
