As the final fall seasons wind down for the Christian County Colonels and Hopkinsville Tigers, attention is turning toward who will lead these programs next year when they are the Christian County Tigers.
The two schools are scheduled to merge with the first seasons for the new school to be in the fall of 2026.
Christian County Public Schools Activities Director Kerry Stovall was a guest of the Early Bird Show earlier this week and said the search already is on for some of the coaches whose seasons have ended.
Stovall said anyone interested in applying for a head coaching position at the new Christian County High School should send their applications to him.
