Hopkins County Central held visiting Heritage Christian Academy to four hits and defeated the Warriors 3-0 Thursday in a high school baseball game.
The Storm scored a pair of runs in the bottom of the first inning and another in the third.
The Warriors used three pitchers with Ethan Miles, Aaron Hensley, and Cadyn Travis limiting the Storm to only three hits. However, HCA’s defense committed five errors.
Miles had a pair of singles to lead the Warriors, who fell to 3-12 on the season.
Travis and Hensley also had hits for HCA.
The Warriors are back in action today at home against Somerset Christian Academy at 3 p.m.
