Region 2 champion and defending state champion Henderson County will open play in the 2025 Clark’s Pump-N-Shop State Softball Tournament today in Lexington.
The No.2-ranked Lady Colonels will meet Region 13 champion North Laurel at 9 a.m. The winner will meet either Region 3 champion and fourth-ranked Daviess County or Region 4 winner and No. 1-ranked South Warren at noon on Saturday. The Lady Panthers and Lady Spartans are scheduled to play today at noon.
Other first-round games today include Rowan County vs. Boyle County at 4:30 p.m. and No. 6 Scott County against Bullitt East at 7:30 p.m.
On Friday, first round games include Covington Holy Cross against Harrison County at 9 a.m., followed by Assumption against Oldham County at noon, Taylor County takes on Letcher County Central at 4:30 p.m. and Region 1 champion Marshall County meets Lawrence County at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Meanwhile, the 2025 Clark’s Pump-N-Shop State Baseball Tournament begins play today in Lexington although most of the western Kentucky teams won’t see the field until Friday.
Today, No. 2-ranked Louisville Trinity will meet Region 3 champion Meade County at 9 a.m., followed by Boyle County meeting Boyd County at 12:30 p.m. Tonight, No. 7 Taylor County meets Sayre at 4 p.m. followed by Harrison County against Wolfe County at 7:30 p.m.
Region 2 champion and No. 13-ranked Lyon County begins Friday games as the Lyons take on Region 1 champion and No. 4-ranked McCracken County at 9 a.m. The second game will feature Region 4 champion and No. 8-ranked South Warren against Highlands at 12:30 p.m.
The Friday afternoon session includes No.6 Pleasure Ridge Park taking on Corbin at 4 p.m. followed by Johnson Central facing Spencer County at 7:30 p.m.
