Stagecoach Road in Hopkins County will be undergoing repaving next week, starting on Monday, so motorists should be aware of road restrictions.
According to a news release, a contractor with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet began milling operations along the roadway this week and plans to proceed with paving on Monday, Weather permitting, work is scheduled to be completed by that Friday.
The project area runs from the intersection of Stagecoach Road and Sunset Road, northward to the Hopkins-Webster County line, for approximately five miles.
Some delays are possible during the movement and placement of equipment to facilitate the work, so motorists are asked to use extra caution where equipment and personnel are close to the roadway.
