Snow could be in the air to start the work week

The Pennyrile region of Kentucky may just end up with a little snow on the ground after all—though chances still aren’t very high.

That’s according to the National Weather Service in Paducah, with meteorologists saying another clipper system will bring the potential for light snow to the area on Monday, with Hopkinsville and surrounding areas showing about a 30 percent chance for precipitation.  If any snow does manage to fall, some place might see about an inch of snow accumulations.

What’s more certain is the ongoing cold temperatures, with it staying well below normal for the bulk of the week, with temperatures lingering in the 30’s during the day and dropping well below freezing in the overnight hours.
