Cloverport held Heritage Christian County scoreless in the first quarter and went on to defeat the Lady Warriors 37-29 Friday night in a girls’ high school basketball game at Warrior Gym.
The Lady Aces led 8-0 after one period and before the HCA crowd could get settled in good for Senior Night.
The visitors led 19-9 at halftime and pushed their lead to 33-19 after three quarters.
Charity Hall was a bright spot for the Lady Warriors with 11 points. Ava DeJager had eight points and 10 rebounds.
HCA slipped to 3-11 on the season while the Lady Aces picked up their first victory to improve to 1-13.
The Lady Warriors are scheduled to play at Fort Campbell Tuesday night.
