Salvation Army Angel Tree, Red Kettle campaigns underway

The Salvation Army of Hopkinsville is fully in the holiday spirit, as they look to help those most in need through the Angel Tree and Red Kettle campaigns.

The Red Kettle Campaign in Hopkinsville has officially kicked off, and The Salvation Army encourages the public to join in the spirit of giving by donating at various retail locations across Hopkinsville. Lt. Lindsey Galabeas tells WHOP News they’re always looking for volunteers to help in that endeavor—and it’s something that really does make an impact.

As for the Angel Tree Program, you can find one at the local Walmart locations, and those donations directly impact some one in need in the community.

She says if you don’t want to go through the Angel Tree program, you can always donate gifts and items directly to the Salvation Army, who will get them where they need to go.

To make a donation, simply visit one of the many Red Kettle locations at popular retail spots throughout Hopkinsville, and all donations stay local, helping people right in the community.
