Rogers officially named Visit Hopkinsville Executive Director

It’s official—Amy Rogers has been named the new executive director of the Hopkinsville-Christian County Convention and Visitor’s Bureau, removing the interim tag. 

According to a news release, the Board of the Directors has also announced that Ginnie Pruitt has been promoted to Finance and Operations Manager.

Rogers is a western Kentucky native, she attended college at the University of Kentucky and continued her education through Lexington Community College and Sullivan University, earning degrees of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Management, Associate of Arts and Science, and Associate in Applied Science: Graphic Design. 

Pruitt is native to Christian County, previously employed at Skyline Animal Clinic. Ginnie is active in the Hopkinsville chapter of the League of Women Voters, a member of the Hopkinsville History Foundation Board, a Chamber Ambassador and is on the Chamber of Commerce Leadership Board, as well as a graduate of their Leadership Program.   

The Board states that Rogers’ positive energy and enthusiasm for Hopkinsville and Christian County is a boon for our community and they look forward to seeing her accomplishments in the near future.
