There will be rain chances each day for the week but don’t worry, it won’t be a washout weather wise.
That’s according to Meteorologist Derrick Snyder with the national weather service in Paducah, who says although rain chances will linger, the rainfall is expected to be light overall and slowly, temperatures are going to start to warm up, feeling more like summer—with no risk of severe weather in the forecast.
In the 8-to-14-day outlook, it’s looking like we may even touch the 90’s in the first week of June, and the precipitation chances are looking about average.
Then, the National Weather Service is looking ahead in the long-range forecast, releasing their predictions for the summer. Right now, Snyder is saying the summer looks like it will be just a smidge above average on temperatures, and near normal on rainfall amounts—but only time will tell for sure.
2025 has been a very busy year when it comes to severe weather, from historic flooding in the western Kentucky area to over 50 tornadoes being surveyed across the National Weather Service in Paducah’s service region—so Snyder recommends enjoying the much deserved calm weather.Â
