A portion of Will Jackson Road in Trigg County will close starting Tuesday to allow for a culvert to be replaced.
According to a news release, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will close Will Jackson Road near mile point 6 for the Shelly Branch Culvert to be replaced. This closure is between Reddick Pond Road and Trigg Furnace Road. The close is expected to last approximately three weeks.
The Trigg County Highway Maintenance Crew will remove the old Shelly Branch Culvert and excavate the site. A contractor will then assemble a pre-fabricated aluminum arch culvert in the excavation. The area will then be back-filled.
