Hopkinsville Police have identified the man who was killed in a collision involving a semi-truck on Tuesday as Mark Alexander of Hopkinsville.
According to a report from police, a semi-truck operated by Jeremy Ward of Madisonville was traveling eastbound on Highway 1682. As Ward was approaching the Davenport Lane intersection, Alexander ran into the road and hit the side the semi-truck trailer according to video evidence.
Alexander was pronounced deceased at the scene by a coroner and an accident reconstruction report is underway.
