After executing a search warrant on a residence, Hopkinsville Police reportedly found 40-year-old Michael Wimberly of Hopkinsville to be in possession of drug paraphernalia which resulted in multiple charges on Friday.
The search warrant was issued to locate stolen property and while searching Wimberly’s residence, detectives found a stolen handgun, suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, and marijuana.
Wimberly was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, receiving stolen property, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
