Hopkinsville Police arrested 32-year-old Keshane Redmon of Louisville after he unlawfully imprisoned and threatened to assault a victim on Friday.
According to a report, officers were contacted by the victim in regards to a fight. The victim told officers that they were visiting their grandmother’s home and Redmon was there. He was reportedly mad at the victim for moving something in the house.
Redmon allegedly grabbed the victim by the waist and swung them around. Redmon then reportedly grabbed a knife and attempted to slash the victim while threatening to kill them. As the victim and their mother attempted to leave, Redmon allegedly stood in front of the door preventing them from doing so.
Once the victim escaped, they got into a car and left and Redmon reportedly threw a brick at the car causing damages.
Redmon was charged with first-degree criminal mischief, first-degree attempted assault, first-degree unlawful imprisonment and third-degree terroristic threatening.
