Officers from the Hopkinsville Police Department arrested 22-year-old Zara Matlock of Hopkinsville after she reportedly assaulted a victim on Monday.
According to a report, police were called to the Manhattan Motel for a disturbance with shots fired. At the motel, officers came across the victim who was reportedly bleeding profusely from their left ear and upon inspection the victim’s ear appeared to have been severely cut.
The victim allegedly told officers that Matlock cut their ear by hitting them with a glass bottle. Matlock was charged with second-degree assault.
