Hopkinsville Police arrested Roberto Rivera of Hopkinsville after he reportedly threatened to kill a man and brandished a knife on Thursday.
According to a report, an officer met with the victim at the Taco Bell located on North Drive. The victim said he was walking on the Hopkinsville Greenway Rail Trail when he crossed paths with Rivera who was reportedly talking to himself.
Once he got to the parking lot of the North Drive trailhead, Rivera allegedly threatened to kill the victim and was wielding a knife. In his threat, Rivera also allegedly called the victim a slur.
The victim walked down North Drive to get away from Rivera. Rivera then crossed the street near The Hopkinsville Pharmacy and reportedly pulled his pants down and exposed himself to the victim.
The officer later located Rivera at the Dodge Store on West 7th Street, and he reportedly had a knife in his pocket. He was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and second-degree indecent exposure.
