Hopkinsville Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Parker of Hopkinsville on Sunday after he reportedly assaulted a victim and prevented them from calling 911.
The assault occurred on Saturday and the victim reportedly told officers that Parker choked them, leaving bruises and marks on their neck. When the victim attempted to leave, Parker reportedly did not let the victim leave the residence or call 911.
Parker was charged with first-degree unlawful imprisonment and second-degree strangulation.
