Police arrest Hopkinsville man for assault, terroristic threatening

Hopkinsville Police arrested 28-year-old Timothy Jenkins of Hopkinsville after he reportedly assaulted two victims on Wednesday.

According to a report, officers were dispatched to Christian County Manor for a resident who was yelling at staff, hitting walls and slamming doors. Jenkins reportedly threatened a staff member with bodily harm when a resident intervened to defend them from Jenkins.

Jenkins reportedly assaulted the resident and strangled them. For the incident, he was charged with second-degree assault, second-degree strangulation, third-degree terroristic threatening and second-degree disorderly conduct.Â
