Pennyrile Electric is taking another chance to conduct some much-needed updates to the Pee Dee substation, which means there will be a planned outage this coming Sunday.
This has had to be rescheduled a couple of times due to weather, but now its set to take place at 12 a.m. Sunday morning—or Saturday Night—to allow for crews to install new regulators at the Pee Dee substation, along with changing out two poles just outside of the substation.
This will require at outage to 2,304 Pennyrile Electric members and it is expected to last approximately four hours.
Affected members can expect to begin receiving notification calls or texts this week.
