Audrey Perry had four goals and an assist and Kendall Hancock had a hat trick and an assist to power University Heights Academy to a 7-2 girls’ high school soccer win over Fort Campbell on Wednesday night.
The victory keeps the Lady Blazers perfect in District 8 play. A win tonight over Christian County at home will secure the top seed in next month’s district tournament. The two teams meet at 5:30 p.m. today at Givens Field.
UHA had 34 shots on goal against the Lady Falcons on Wednesday.
Skylar Cantrell and Gracie Ausenbaugh also had assists for the Lady Blazers, who improved to 8-2 overall.
Madison Williams had three saves in goal to earn the win.
After tonight’s game, UHA goes to Louisville this weekend to play in the All “A” Classic State Tournament. The Lady Blazers are scheduled to play Sayre at 8:30 a.m. local time at Louisville Assumption.
