A woman was flown to a Nashville hospital after being struck by a vehicle on Fort Campbell Boulevard in Clarksville Tuesday night.
It happened near Lealand Drive on Fort Campbell Boulevard at just before 10 p.m. and the Clarksville Police Department responded to reports of a vehicle versus pedestrian collision. Several lanes of traffic were shut down for some time, and the pedestrian was flown to a Nashville hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
In an update Wednesday morning, the victim is listed in stable condition.
Preliminary investigation determined the victim was wearing dark colored clothing and reportedly stepped out in front of the vehicle.
