The Clarksville Police Department is investigating after a pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle Friday evening on Fort Campbell Boulevard.
According to a news release, it happened around 7:15 p.m. on Fort Campbell Boulevard at Charlemagne Boulevard when a motorist was traveling north on the boulevard and struck 58-year-old Larry Bland of Clarksville.
Bland had reportedly been walking in the left turn lane and had attempted to cross the roadway when he was struck.
The investigation continues, but it does not appear there will be any charges related to the collision at this time.
