Motorists traveling on McClean Avuene in Hopkinsville starting next week need to be aware of concrete pavement repair work that will be taking place starting Monday.
Crews with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will be blocking the eastbound lanes of U.S. 68-KY 80 starting at 8 a.m. Monday morning to allow for repairs to be made to the pavement, resulting in a closure that will last through Wednesday.
Due to project rainfalls on Tuesday, crews plan to reopen the roadway Monday night and leaving it open until 8 a.m. on Wednesday. Then, the closure will resume on Wednesday and last through Friday, from the southbound Exit 9 from I-165 and the southbound on-ramp from U.S. 68 west.
Traffic will be diverted to Eagle Way Bypass then back to U.S. 68.
