Paducah Tilghman gets by University Heights

KeShawn Moore had 29 points but the host University Heights Academy Blazers dropped a 78-64 boys’ high school basketball game to Paducah Tilghman on Tuesday night.

The Blue Tornado led 20-13 and never trailed the rest of the way.

UHA played without starting forward Hayden Hunt, who sat out with an ankle injury and top reserve Nick Hickman, who is nursing an injury.

Jaiden Miles added 11 points for the Blazers, who slipped to 7-15 on the season.

Paducah improved to 9-16 and was led by Max Russell’s 15 points.

UHA is scheduled to play host to Owensboro Catholic on Friday night in the final game of the regular season. Airtime is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. on 95.3 The Farm and 953thefarm.com.
